It's almost reunion time again and I wanted to get some information out to all of you. I talked to Al Walther recently and he gave me the information about the Herzog Family Reunion for this year:
- The date is Sunday, March 14th. The doors will open at 10 am and the meal will begin between 12 or 12:30 pm
- The location has CHANGED to Manheim Parish Hall (directly across Highway 21 from Ebenezer Lutheran Church located at 4146 W Highway 21, Paige, TX 78659 Click for Map) just down HWY 21 from the Lincoln Community Center (Al made this change because the Manheim Hall is cheaper)
- From Houston - 290 to Giddings right on HWY 77 to FM 2440; left on FM 2440 to HWY 21; left on HWY 21 to the hall across the highway from the church. It is approximately 1 mile from FM 2440 on HWY 21 to hall. The hall is on south side of the highway
- It will be POTLUCK with each family bringing a meat and a side dish and/or a dessert
- No tickets will be sold to pay for the meat or meals
- The cost will be $2.00 per adult to cover the cost of the hall
- Paper goods will be donated by Debbie Beisert
- Tea, coffee, possibly Lemonade will be donated
Al wanted to keep it simple and relaxed with not so much emphasis on trying to collect enough money to pay the bills.
